The firm began in 2017 with one lawyer taking the work that came through the door. It is now a team of seven: four lawyers, two accountants including a certified public accountant, and a client coordinator — working on the same files, in the same office.
The work we take determines that shape. Shareholder disputes are decided on the financial statements. Work permit applications are assessed on the company's tax filings. A sale of a business starts with an examination of the books. Those matters need a lawyer and an accountant looking at them together, not passed between two firms that do not speak.
What the firm covers
A practice this size normally takes two or three kinds of matter and refers the rest away. This one covers eight, and argues them at every level of court.
- Business law: incorporation, shareholding structure, commercial agreements and due diligence before a joint venture.
- Litigation: civil, commercial and criminal cases, and labour disputes.
- Family and succession: divorce and marital property, custody, wills and estate administration.
- Real estate: pre-purchase due diligence, sale agreements, transfer of title and long leases.
- Legal services: notarial certification, powers of attorney, and translation and legalisation for use abroad.
- Intellectual property: trademarks, trade secrets, patents and petty patents.
- Visas and work permits, for foreign nationals and for sponsoring companies.
- Accounting, auditing, finance and tax.
How the firm works
- Every file names the lawyer responsible from the first meeting, and that lawyer appears in court.
- Another lawyer in the firm reads every pleading before it is filed, and can appear when two hearings fall on the same day.
- At the first meeting you are told the steps, the likely timescale and the costs involved, before anything begins.
- The limitation period is checked first in every matter, before any other question.
- Work outside what the firm does well is declined plainly, with a referral to someone who does it.
Behind the scenes
The usual complaint about a small practice is that nobody answers and nobody knows where the case stands. The firm built its own case management system and runs every matter on it: documents held in one place, every lawyer's hearing dates in one calendar, limitation periods calculated by the system, and a portal where clients check the status themselves.
Where we are
The office is in Bang Khen, Bangkok, open Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm, following government office hours. Appointments outside those hours can be arranged in advance. The first meeting is an initial consultation to assess the matter.
Thai professional conduct rules limit what a law firm may advertise. We publish the scope of our work and how we do it, never case outcomes, and no honest lawyer guarantees a result.
